Each spring, select Indiana-based charity/charities will be the fortunate recipient(s) of funds raised at the Hummingbird Charitable Foundation luncheon.
The Foundation will award Second Helpings, Out of a Jam, and Urban Seeds at the Hummingbird Charitable Foundation’s second fundraising luncheon in March 2026.
Second Helpings’ Mission Statement: We prevent hunger today and build self-sufficiency to prevent hunger tomorrow.
Out of a Jam’s Mission Statement: We are on a mission to feed, nourish, and transform lives—feeding hungry people today and empowering the next generation for a healthier tomorrow.
Urban Seeds’ Mission Statement: Urban Seeds supports the health of our community by advocating for a quality, robust, and equitable local food system, to increase access to nourishing food for all.
The Foundation awarded Indy Honor Flight, INvets, and the Indy Warrior Partnership at the Hummingbird Charitable Foundation’s first fundraising luncheon in March 2025.
