During today’s Annual Luncheon at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, the Hummingbird Charitable Foundation announced that Second Helpings, Out of a Jam, and Urban Seeds have each been awarded $40,000 to support their work fighting food insecurity across Indiana. The announcement was made during a check presentation before an audience of community leaders, partners, and supporters.

On March 26th, former Hoosier First Lady and American Second Lady Karen Pence joins the “Leaders and Legends” podcast to discuss the Hummingbird Charitable Foundation, which will host an event to detail its critical work for the past year, announce support for new causes, and throw one of the best lunches of 2026.

Two nonprofits, one led by former second lady of the United States Karen Pence, said Thursday they will help a Shelbyville veteran rebuild after she lost everything in a fire last month.

Today, the Hummingbird Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by former Second Lady of the United States Karen Pence, hosted its inaugural fundraising luncheon, bringing together supporters, community leaders, and Veterans to honor those who have served our nation.
